Lucknow: Garbh Deep Season 6, the Navratri celebration organised by the Usha Mahesh Foundation, once again set itself apart from the usual Dandiya nights. This year’s event centred on women’s health, nutrition and wellness, with discussions, activities and games built around those themes.
True to its style, the evening kept its grace and cultural dignity, with soulful music and traditional performances. One of the most memorable moments was the Maa Durga Aarti, sung together by nearly 100 women, which filled the hall with a deeply devotional mood.

The programme was hosted by Mamta Singh and Ritu Verma.
Nine women were chosen as the Nav Durga of the evening: Nivedita, Jyoti Khanna, Shalini, Manjula Tripathi, Fahmeena, Aarna, Dr. Anita Negi, Neetu Dipani and Sita Gupta.

Speaking at the event, Parul Sharma, Founder of Gramophone, said, “Festivals can be celebrated meaningfully while staying rooted in our traditions. Our culture teaches us to move forward together. Festivals are not merely occasions for music and dance; they are also opportunities to connect, learn and bring positive change to society.”
The message of Garbh Deep Season 6 was clear: Indian traditions, devotion and the needs of modern life can sit side by side, making festivals more inclusive, purposeful and enriching.
